Who will be crowned the king or queen of reality TV? That’s the title The GOAT cast is vying for. The show comes from the producers of Jury Duty, The Bachelor, and Chopped, The GOAT, and debuts its first three episodes on May 9, 2024.
According to a press release, 14 reality superstars—from Bachelorettes to Housewives to Survivors to Drag Racers and everyone in between—move into GOAT Manor under the watchful eye of host Daniel Tosh to compete in over 20 challenges, earning and breaking one another’s trust along the way. New sides of longtime favorites will be on display as they battle it out for $200k and the title of Greatest of All Time.
There’s a reason reality TV has remained popular in the past quarter-century. “The experience of watching these shows, like looking in the mirror, is interactive. We see ourselves, and then we groom ourselves accordingly,” sociologist Danielle J. Lindemann writes in True Story: What Reality TV Says About Us. “We’re voyeurs, but part of what tantalizes us about these freak shows is that the freaks are ourselves.” He added that we love reality TV “for all of its extreme personalities and outlandish premises, reality TV reflects how regressive we truly are.”
So who is the king or queen of reality TV? The GOAT cast is ready for battle.

Tayshia Adams became famous after appearing on season 23 of The Bachelor in 2019, where she placed in the top three. She later appeared on season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise, where she briefly dated fellow contestant John Paul Jones.
Joe Amabile, aka “Grocery Store Joe”, appeared on season 14 of The Bachelorette in 2018, where he became a fan favorite despite being eliminated in the first week. He later competed on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise in 2018, where he fell in love with Kendall Long. They broke up on the show but rekindled their romance after filming and were back together by the season finale.
In 2021, he was nominated for a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Reality TV Star for Bachelor in Paradise, and in 2022, he was nominated for a Movie & TV Award for Best Reality Romance for the same show.
Kristen Doute was an original cast member of Vanderpump Rules. She left the series after Season 8 but returned as a guest in Season 10. She’s also a main cast member on the Vanderpump Rules spin-off, The Valley, which premiered in 2024.
Reza Farahan is a real estate agent, actor, and entrepreneur who is the main character on the reality show Shahs of Sunset. He told The Huff Post in 2012 that Shahs of Sunset “paints Persians in a positive light. We’re used to being portrayed as terrorists on television. We’re all thrown into this big batch of terrorists. If I’m on TV, I’m successful, I’m family-oriented, my friends love me, the community accepts me for being gay, but I love gold, marbles and Mercedes, great.”
Wendell F. Holland II is the sole survivor of Survivor: Ghost Island. He later competed on Survivor: Winners at War.
Celisa “CJ” Franco is a multi-talented model, actress, comedian, and endearingly blunt television personality who entertains a fast-growing fan base of more than half a million followers. She was one of the three women tasked to meet, date, and ultimately identify the “FBoys” and “Nice Guys” from a group of 24 men.
Holmes first appeared on MTV’s The Real World: Hawaii in 1999, where he made a strong first impression by stripping naked and hitting on his roommates within hours of filming. He was also a finalist in Challenge 2000 and All Stars 2.
Justin Johnson, who uses the stage name Alyssa Edwards, is an American entertainer, choreographer, drag performer, and television personality. He became a drag superstar on RuPaul’s Drag Race, where he competed twice in—seasons 5 and All Stars season 2. A true legend of the show.
Paola Mayfield is a TV personality, personal trainer, and nutrition coach who has appeared in six TV shows, including 90 Day Fiancé, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, and 90 Day: Foody Call.
Da’vonne Dianne Rogers is a contestant from Big Brother 17 and Big Brother 18. She also competed in Final Reckoning and War of the Worlds.
Jill Zarin was an original cast member on The Real Housewives of New York City from 2008 to 2011. She has also appeared in the horror film Night of the Wild (2015), the TV drama series White Collar (2009), and Iron Chef America Countdown (2012).
