Mean Girls‘ Bebe Wood Reveals What Gretchen Would Wear To A Chiefs Game

“What would Gretchen Wieners do?” is a question we posed to Bebe Wood, star of the new Mean Girls movie when she stopped by the StyleCaster studios in January 2024. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, so naturally, we had to ask about the Kansas City Chiefs—and, obviously, what she thought about Travis and Taylor.

While Bebe admitted, “This is where I upset everyone, I know nothing about Taylor Swift except that the Eras Tour is popular,” she did have some insight into what her character Gretchen Wieners would wear to a football game.

“I love the Chiefs as much as anyone who doesn’t know anything about football can love the Chiefs. … Especially growing up in Kansas City, all the popular girls always had the cutest outfits going to sports games. [Gretchen would probably wear] a jeans skirt and a little jersey tied in a little knot. I love that, I think it’s such a cute little vibe.” She did mention that Angourie Rice, who plays the new Cady, is obsessed with Taylor Swift. “Taylor Swift is her mom,” Bebe joked.
